Nokia welcomes Warner Music Group to "Comes With Music"

So you are probably asking what is "Comes with Music"?
Nokia Comes With Music enables people to buy a Nokia device with a year of access to tracks from a range of great artists - past, present and future. Once the year is complete, customers can keep all their music without having to worry about it disappearing when their subscription is over. Universal Music Group International, SONY BMG MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT and Warner Music Group are part of the launch and Nokia is in discussion with many other international labels.
Sounds pretty good to me and evidently it sounds good to Warner too because today Warner Music Group will make its diverse catalog of new stars and legendary artists available through Nokia Music Stores around the world as well as through Comes With Music, a revolutionary way for people to discover and enjoy music offered uniquely by Nokia.
3G iPhone In-Store Activation Explained
June 30th, 2008Looks like the supposed procedure for the launch of the 3G iPhone has been anonymously posted to an online discussion forum according to a post from Gear Diary.
Included is a link to what is said to be an advanced version of iTunes v7.6.3b4 that will allow the stores to “unbrick” the iPhones for in store activation. Apparently the new version of iTunes 7.7 due to be released on July 11 will include this activation mode.

An Extended Battery for the HTC Touch Diamond
June 30th, 2008I saw this over at Mobility Site where Chris Leckness caught it over at Jason Langridge’s Blog who saw it over at MoDaCo. Whew, you see, that was not hard to give credit to all that found it first. In any event, if you have a HTC Touch Diamond or are planning on getting one, there is an extended battery that has popped up on Expansys have that might be what you will want to deal with battery consumption issues if the new ROM does not fix them.
So in any event, Expansys has the answer here.
Rhapsody "embracing" the iPod
June 30th, 2008Rhapsody is offering songs online and via partners including Yahoo Inc and Verizon Wireless,that will be sold in MP3 format, so iPod users can now take the challenge … iTunes or Rhapsody.
Described as "Music Without Limits", Rhapsody will be available on mobile phones via the Verizon Wireless VCAST Music service. Buyers of a song over-the-air directly from phones also will be able to download that song to their computer. Verizon Wireless is a joint venture of Verizon Communications Inc and Vodafone Group Plc.
